The easiest way to install the latest version of Firefox in Ubuntu is by launching the following command:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/firefox-stable && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install firefox
This will update your current version of Firefox to 4.0. or the latest one
